Imhoff Homestead Product Review :: Brooklinen Sheets

It's always fun to try new products, especially when you view the products online, and see thousands of online reviews.  You simply can't resist right?!  I like many of you HAD to try them.  I was in the market for new sheets, and my usual sheet purchases come from HomeGoods or TJMaxx if I'm being completely honest.  I haven't had a problem with past sheets/linens, but I thought, Luxury Sheets is something I should totally have in my life, after all, we do spend 1/3 of our lives in bed!

I was pleasantly surprised how easy it was to purchase the sheets online.  They come in a variety of patterns and colors and collections.  I myself, am an "all white sheet" kind of gal, and chose the Luxe Core Sheet Set which included 1 flat sheet, 1 fitted sheet, and 2 pillowcases.  There are many different options, but these fit my needs and were in my price range.  Right off the bat I was given a discount code which I applied at Checkout, and received free shipping.  I believe the sheets arrived within a week, and were on time, which I appreciate!  I received numerous emails from the company letting me know where the product was in process, and when they should arrive.  They notified me as soon as they shipped as well.

As soon as the product arrived, I opened up the super cute packaging!  I love the Brooklinen Bag, all the sheets fit perfectly inside.  The website does say to wash before use, which is what I did.  At first I will admit I was a little disappointed.  The sheets seemed very stiff to me, and I love a very SOFT sheet.  I washed them which did help a little bit.  The website says these particular sheets are slightly heavier and softer than their Classic Line.  The Luxe Core Sheet set has a 480 thread count, and seem like they will hold up for a long time.

Excuse the terrible iphone photos

After sleeping in the sheets for a week now, here are my thoughts.  For one, these are very crisp, clean feeling sheets.  They actually stay pretty cool to touch, and with the Texas Summer Heat, I was very pleased with that.  I can tell that this set will hold up, and last longer than my previous purchase. The reason I was in the market for a new sheet set was because our older ones were worn down. I see Brooklinen's lasting a very long time.  The reviews do mention that they get softer with every wash. I will let you all know if this rings true for me.  Will I buy these again?  The verdict is still out.  They are nice, but I am waiting for a few more washes to make my decision.  The company is great with returns, they do allow you to try the sheets for 60 days. I don't plan on returning mine at all.

Brooklinen also sells comforters and pillows, along with other sheet collections!  I am going to be looking into purchasing a comforter from them in the next 6 months, and will keep you updated on this as well! Let me know if you give them a try, I would love to hear your opinion on these Luxury Sheets!

Oh, and these are #murphy approved
